You found our little project - nice! We would be happy if you dig our projects and create new
As a short overview "nanosome" is...
In a approach to clearify and remove dependencies we split up nanosome in various projects, each covering a special interest or idea.
You can choose a project right beside our logo.
We have extensive in code documentation and its even supposed to look good. You can find it in each Project. Since it changes with every release, we have a archive with older versions.
Martin is supposed to write about some things in here on his blog: Leichtgewicht.
There might be some deeper insight about things also available in the wiki or in our svn at assembla.
If you like the things you find here, feel free to write about it any way you like. If you let us know then we can reference to it here.
We put all our code under the APL 2.0. This means you can use this code for commercial or non-commercial projects. For more informations about the license check the very clear FAQ area: What does it mean?
All the text and tutorials you find on this page are (if not otherwise declared) released under the Creative Commons Share-Alike License:
We are persons. With faces! And we do read our mails occasionally and update our twitter statements with (occasionally) useful stuff.
For our general contact(like telling us how bad/good you think is what we do) use contact@nanosome.org You can also follow/contact the group via twitter: @nanosome.
Martin, born in Austria near the lake of constance, is in his later twenties and
works for about 10 years now as User Interface programmer with some side work as a designer.
He has been working on the as2lib - a bigger OS-framework for ActionScript2 ages ago. After some
trips as one-man company and working for Hobnox he now re-started his life with his lovely wife in Japan.
He is currently available for hire.
We know that some people like to work on their own. Thats okay for us!
We can provide you with a certain infrastructure and a platform (the one you see here) to publicate it.
We can take care of things like documentation or build processes if you plan on joining us. In case you think your project might just fit right in here go ahead and let us know.
We can't have ever enough of ideas. We have already a pretty big stock of them (even for other programming languages). But if you think you have some idea where you don't have the time for we might want to have a talk about it. Just contact us!
There are many things that have to be done before a project can be released: In-code Documentation, Tutorials, Quality testing, Integration Testing, etc. Beside the writing of the code itself - those are really time-consuming tasks! If you have some helping hands we can use them. Take a peek at our space at assembla or tell us directly what you have in mind!
Some people just want to thank open source projects for the existance. Or they think (reasonably) that we did this in our spare time and the project has no chance to continue without funding. That is quite true! We are no Organization (in official terms) in most countries, so donations via paypal might create problems. If you want to support us financially, you can buy your place in our "supporters list".
We sure are busy - but that doesn't stop us from talking about future involvements. We have experience with project based working. If you think that some of the nanosome ideas would perfectly fit your system but you lack the time/hands/understanding then you sure can contact us.
Training in 1-on-1 sessions via Skype or group training for certain topics can be arranged as well.
If you know some feature that you need urgently but we didn't add yet, let us know!
You can support us too: Contact us!
